ABOUT US

Tersia de Villiers is the owner of iLearn Speech who is an established private practice in the heart of Durbanville. Our goal is to provide quality speech and language therapy services to children and their families.

We do this by providing individualized therapy sessions as well as working closely with parents/caregivers, schools and other professionals to teach the skills necessary to help children become successful communicators at home, at school and during everyday life.

Our practice is based in the Northern Suburbs and we also service schools in the area.

WHAT WE OFFER

We provide assessment and treatment for children with speech, language and communication difficulties. We are also able to offer specialist speech and language therapy services for children with communication difficulties at our practice or schools in the Northern Suburb.

MEET THE OWNER

Tersia de Villiers obtained her B.Speech Pathology and Audiology degree at the University of Stellenbosch in 1999. After completing her studies she worked at Destinata Remedial School in Meyerton for 4 years. During that period she obtained a Masters Degree in Early Intervention at the University of Pretoria.

During 2005-2007 she and her husband moved to the UK where she gained valuable experience in the N.H.S. where she worked in various clinics and schools. When they returned to South Africa, she started her own Private Practice.

She is a strong believer of Early Intervention and working closely with families, schools and other professionals.
